Urban Assemblage
The ensemble, which is interpreted as a set or combination, originated from Pablo Picasso (1912–1914) as a technique of art form that collects various objects such as scrap or daily necessities together to make a work of art. It is a threedimensional collage, a way of creating new and interesting output through reinterpretation and recombination of abandoned things. This proposal proposes Urban Assemblage as a way to reinterpret, relocate, and recombine abandoned elements on the site of Sangmu incinerator.

Bookscape
How should the public view the library? In the digital age, anyone can easily check out e-book from a public library and read at one’s convenient place and time. However, why should anyone go to the library during the designated time in old fashion? Perhaps the answer is the unique identity characterized by spatial quality and image of a library. We believe that the creation of a spatial atmosphere in which the original character of the library, which is a repository of human knowledge, is as important as the number of collections that the library possesses.
The landscape of a library that is closely linked with books is a place that stimulates the intellectual curiosity of users, and I think that a library in the digital age should be accompanied by an analog library. Bookscape is created by the walls of the room and the corridor, and according to the height of the bookcase. The mix of analog and digital methods coexist and creates spaces where light meets books. Natural landscape is pulled in between books and perhaps this idea is the right way to reveal the true beauty of book itself.
