Uniformity of land development

What about the spaces of memorable places, different from the buildings of general housing development? We wanted to pile up memorable places in one building instead of a large village, so that the building itself would become a memorable place, and so we planned a vertical village that piled up various paths, experiences, and parks in one building.

This vertical village will not exist as a simple Saemaul Geumgo building, but will become a Saemaul Geumgo hall representing Hwaseong, improving the lives of local residents who visit here and serving as a meeting place for the local community.

일반적인 택지개발의 건물들과 다른, 기억되는 장소들의 공간들은 어떠할까? 기억되는 장소를 넓은 마을이 아닌 하나의 건물에 쌓아올려 한 건물자체가 기억되는 장소가 되길 바랬고, 그래서 우리는 다양한 길과 경험 그리고 공원을 하나의 건물로 쌓아 올린 수직적 마을을 계획하였다.

이 수직 마을은 단순한 새마을금고 건물로만 존재하기보다 이곳을 찾는 지역민들의 삶을 향상시키고 지역공동체의 모임 장소로서, 화성을 대표하는 새마을금고 회관이 될 것이다.
